Because Equity is Still an Issue

In April of 2008 the AAUW Wisconsin State Board authorized the formation of an online branch to meet the needs of members who either didn't live near a community based branch or were unable to attend their meetings.

At present, our web site and our branch are in their formative stages.  However, we would be honored to have you join us as a charter member.  Our meetings will be online and at your convenience.

The AAUW-WI Online Branch is a member of AAUW, a powerful advocate and visible leader for equity and education for women and girls through advocacy, education, research, and philanthropy.

If you are interested in discussing AAUW policy issues, participating in action projects to further AAUW’s mission goals and getting to know a diverse group of people from across the state and country, please join us.  Membership is open to anyone who holds an associate's or equivalent, bachelor's, or higher degree from an accredited regional college or university.

Undergraduates in a regionally accredited two- or four-year educational institution may join as student affiliates.

AAUW Value Promise

By joining AAUW, you belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so all women have a fair chance.

Membership in the Online Branch is currently $75 for the 2009-2010 year ($49 for AAUW, $10 for AAUW-WI http://aauw-wi.org/branches/online, and $16 for the Online Branch).  We welcome anyone from Wisconsin and beyond who supports the AAUW mission and desires the flexibility of a virtual community.
